Hurley’s Holler

Perhaps influenced by the fact that this isn’t a fun year to go out, my friend Drew redid his basement and decided to throw in a full-blown country western bar, complete with a shufflepuck table, a wraparound bar, and branding.

I used a typeface called Rumble Brave for this project, which I’ve also used here and there at my day job, specifically for Antique Photo location graphics. It’s a really versatile font because each letter has several glyph flourish options to choose from. I’m a sucker for options.

Since he manages his bar properly, Drew also ordered a bunch of customized decorations and merch.

Good stuff! I hope to have a drink there sometime in the near future. He says I have a spot, ha ha.
