Seriously, Who Hasn’t Seen Star Wars (2016)

My friend/former Enquirer cubemate Meghan Goth wrote a column on her plans to see both Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back for the first time—yes, in the year of our lord 2016—and she asked me if I wanted to contribute, so I drew the frantic nerd rage and bewildered annoyance of the moment I discovered this… this insane decade-spanning avoidance of a popular movie franchise. For context purposes, a C-3PO figure had been perched in the bamboo plant between our monitors for like a month before she asked me what it was. I thought she was joking. She was not.

I mean, have you ever talked to someone and they were just like, “Oh, I’ve never seen Star Wars.” It’s happened to me like three times and it’s exasperating every time.
